Sometimes it's easy to think that secondary education is only for teenagers and young adults, but there are many adults that need to finish or even begin their secondary work toward a high school diploma. The task can be daunting, and people often don't know where to begin.

On today's episode of The Inside Scoop, David Owen discusses Adult Education with Francia Browne. Ms. Browne is the Director of Cobb School's Adult Education Center. She has been in Adult Education for 25 years and has worked in many different facets of it in Cobb County, including with students at Cobb Correctional Center.

There are many things to think about when adults consider getting their diploma later in life, including the time involved, cost, work schedule, native language, and so much more. Ms. Browne helps listeners navigate these challenges and possible ways to pursue a secondary education.
