Varner has a strong Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) Program. It encourages students' father figures to join us and participate in the school day. Watch D.O.G.S. are asked to spend at least one day each school year at Varner. While at Varner, Watch D.O.G.S. engage in activities such as PE, Art, Music, STEM & Innovation, recess, reading to students, monitoring the hallway, lunch, and other much-needed projects around the school. Our Watch D.O.G.S. painted and provided new lighting for the front office and teacher's lounge, did a massive landscaping remodel in the front of the building, and helped at special events.
From the kick-off to the last day of school, Watch D.O.G.S. are here to help!
