Class of 2020 Graduation Information

The Graduation Ceremony is Thursday, May 21st at 10:00 a.m. at the Kennesaw State University Convocation Center.  A ticket is required for admission and tickets are limited per family. Please check back throughout the year for additional information.

Official Information from the yearbook staff

Please read carefully all of the following information regarding senior pictures for this year’s yearbook.  All formal, casual, and baby pictures must be received no later than Sept. 13 to be included in the yearbook following the procedures below. Envelopes will be provided to students in homeroom between Sept. 9 and Sept. 13 for students to confirm what pictures have been submitted for the book. Students who do not submit a formal picture, which must be in a drape or tux, will appear only in the casual section of the yearbook. 

TRIBUTES

The order form for tributes is available on the Jostens website by going to www.jostens.com/yearbookads.  The forms, pictures, and checks for tributes will not be accepted at Walton. You can create and pay for your tribute online at Jostens.

SENIOR PICTURES

Seniors may submit a formal, casual, and baby picture for the yearbook.  Please follow the steps outlined below to make sure your pictures are included in the book.

Formal

Photos may be submitted either by the student using a private photographer or by using Walton’s official school photographer, Legacy.  If you use a private photographer, please ask if the photographer will provide you with a digital copy of the picture, or if he/she will submit the picture to the yearbook by uploading the picture directly to the web site given. In order to be included in the formal section, pictures must be taken in the traditional drape or tux. New this year: Go to www.waltonyearbook.com and click on Senior Portraits at the top of the page. You will then be able to upload your student’s formal, casual, and baby pictures. Please do not submit a flash drive or a hard copy of the picture. Use this web site (www.waltonyearbook.com) to submit your pictures. Pictures cannot be accepted via email.

Legacy is our school photographer and will provide Walton with all student’s formal and/or casual photos for those who use their services. They will be available to take pictures at Walton on June 4-6 and

July 29-30 by appointment only. Seniors can use Legacy during underclassman picture days in August by appointment only. You can make an appointment by going on line and signing up at https://seniors.legacystudios.com/ . Pictures can be taken by appointment all summer at the Legacy Studio.

 Casual

You may choose to have casual pictures taken by a photographer of your choice or Legacy. Please ask them to turn in pictures directly to Walton or provide them to you to turn in via the methods described above at www.waltonyearbook.com, then click on Senior Portraits at the top of the page.

Baby Pictures

Baby pictures should be uploaded directly to the yearbook at www.waltonyearbook.com, using the instructions above. The baby picture will NOT be included in the yearbook if the student does not also submit a casual picture.
