The North Cobb Varsity GHSA Rifle Team placed 2nd at the Area Championships yesterday at Walton HS missing 1st Place by only 1 point. The team will continue to finals for State qualification in the coming weeks with our next match against Elbert County HS at home.
North Cobb GHSA Rifle Team:
Sofia Brisbane, Abigail Rigg, Brandon Parks, Benjamin Gerald, Raymond Williams
- Abigail Rigg shot a perfect 100 in prone and was selected as one of the highest shooters.
- Sofia Brisbane earned multiple awards including 2nd highest shooter from all teams for the season and an individual qualification for the State Championship with a score of 292 (out of 300).
