SAT, ACT, and Accuplacer Tests

Colleges accept scores from both the ACT & SAT. They do not prefer one test over the other.
The SAT is an aptitude exam, testing reasoning & verbal abilities. *Each section is worth 200-800 points, which are added together for a combined score.
The ACT is an achievement test, measuring what a student has learned. *Each subject is worth 1-36 points, which are averaged together for a composite score.
Accuplacer (COMPASS) Exam Computer-Adaptive College Placement Test used for acceptance at 2-year or technical colleges (SAT & ACT can be used as well).
This exam is scheduled through the specific 2-year/tech college to which you are applying.
Evaluates skill levels in Reading, Writing, & Math
Helps place students in appropriate courses (college or remedial level)

The electronic translation service is hosted by Google Translate. The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 50 languages, although an impressive number, this does not capture all languages or dialects. The basic translation’s goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material.
