College Visits
Juniors and seniors may use two school days per year to visit college campuses. We routinely have college representatives on campus to visit our junior and senior students. If you would like to attend an information session held in the Future Shop, you must come by the counselor's office in advance to sign up to receive a pass to attend the presentation.
Financial Aid Resources
Paying for college requires planning. Know what to expect and how to get help.
Entrance-and-Exit Exam Testing for IEP Students
If you have an IEP or 504 Plan and require accommodations for the SAT, ACT, or AP tests, please contact Jennifer Morgan. In your communication, include which test(s) you are requesting accommodations for along with the date(s) you plan to take the test. (Advanced Placement tests do not have set testing dates.) According to the College Board and ACT websites, you should allow eight weeks for the requested accommodations to be processed, so make your request 10–12 weeks before your testing date.
Future Shop
Students can plan for their future during their free time at school by requesting a pass to our Future Shop. Simply stop by the counseling office to sign up. At our Future Shop, you can:
- Explore and apply for college or technical schools
- Explore military options
- Use Naviance (Access Instructions)
- Sign up for SAT/ACT testing
- Prepare a resume
- Look for a job
- Visit with college representatives
