Read at least 20 minutes a day! The programs and sites below can help your child access books, online reading programs, and more.

Public Library Connection – PASS Program

Your student number is your public library card number! Check out books and ebooks from the Cobb County Public Library. Simply stop by any CCPL branch and check out up to 5 print books using your student number and 4-digit birthday (2-digit month and 2-digit day). Students may also check out digital materials, including ebooks.

Beanstack Reading Program

Beanstack is an engaging K-12 reading platform that allows us to customize district-wide and school-based reading challenges that motivate students to read by choice and build each school’s culture of reading. Teasley hosts monthly reading challenges to encourage students to read at least 20 minutes each day. Log your minutes to earn virtual badges and real buttons to add to your backpack. Be sure to log minutes that students read AND minutes that adults read to students...it all counts and it all adds up!

Read anywhere with Sora!

Sora is our digital book platform. Users can read books online and download them to personal devices. This is a terrific way to always have a book to read with your student or listen to an audio book! Have a road trip coming up? Download a book to listen to in the car! Check out sorapp.com or download the Sora app to easily checkout ebooks and e-audiobooks from your school and the Cobb County Public Library, too! Log into Sora using your email address and computer password.

Cobb Digital Library – Your student’s source for research!

The Cobb Digital Library is stocked full of learning resources and e-books! Each school has a collection of carefully curated resources that are engaging and age-appropriate for students.  Login credentials for the CDL is the first part of the student's Office 365 email address (typically firstname.lastname) and the password they use to log into the computer at school.
