The Harrison Hoya Football team was chosen by FOX5 Sports as the Team of the Week and honored at a school pep rally on Halloween Day. The Hoya Center was rocking thanks to the Marching Band and filled with cheers, applause, and a lot of students.

Paul Milliken and his HIGH5 Sports team brought their usual level of joy and excitement, leaving behind the Hoyas' first Team of the Week trophy since 2014.

Student-athletes were well represented in the Halloween morning pep rally—including softball, volleyball, cross country, flag football, and soccer players—and noted by Paul in the award presentation video.

Several costumed celebrities were scattered around the gym, including Beetlejuice, Bruno Mars, Baby Yoda, and characters from the movie The Sandlot. Between live TV segments for Good Day Atlanta, the pep rally featured three Knockout tournaments: one for staff, one for students, and one final winner-take-all in which the students prevailed. The Dance-Off was a crowd favorite as "Bruno Mars" threw down some Olympic-level breakdancing moves yet had to settle for runner-up.

Members of the Harrison Hoya Squad presented the trophy to the team, and the celebration got underway in full. Seniors Carson Canup and Terrence McCrae were selected to represent the team and interview with Paul on camera before the presentation. Both mentioned that the key to this year's 8-1 record is everyone on the team knowing their role and working hard.

"I've got 98 of my best friends behind me. We're a brotherhood, and we know what we're supposed to do, and we do our job," Carson said about his Region 3-6A championship teammates.

"I couldn't be more proud of these guys," Principal Dr. Jeff Milton said. "It's been a decade, almost to the day, that we last won Team of the Week and this is a special recognition for our team and for our school. Harrison's athletic program is having an amazing run right now, and all the teams present today are region champions. It's a great time to be a Hoya!"

Special thanks to Paul Milliken and HIGH5 Sports for recognizing the Harrison Hoyas as Team of the Week! Great job, Coach Salam and his staff, the players, the support staff, and all of the fans for cheering on the team as they head into the GHSA playoffs. Hoya Saxa!
