A musical perfect for the whole family, Seussical Jr. takes a deep plunge into the world of Dr. Seuss, where his beloved characters come to life onstage! Tony-winning writers Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty have crafted a fantastical musical extravaganza narrated by none other than the Cat in the Hat.

The story journeys from the Jungle of Nool to Whoville, where the audience meets Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing the tiny town of Whoville. The villainous Jungle Nool Creatures have stolen Horton’s prized speck, and now he is on a quest to find the tiny Whoville town. Along the way, he succumbs to Mayzie La Bird's plea to sit on an egg, thus abandoning his search. Alas, the day is saved by the chance passing by of Gertrude McFuzz. The powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and ultimately emerge triumphant! Seussical Jr. weaves a story of friendship, loyalty, and love and teaches the power of being unique and the importance of fighting for your beliefs.
