The fund will provide $5,000 scholarships to up to eight Campbell High School seniors each year. Recipients will be selected based on financial need and an interest in pursuing a major in English, Education, Journalism, or Communications or seeking a career in the trades industry. Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, books, technology, and other educational expenses.

Mr. Castleberry’s generous pledge will be fulfilled in installments through 2025, ensuring the longevity of the scholarship program. The Campbell High School scholarship committee will oversee the selection process to identify deserving students who embody the values and aspirations Leslie Marie Walker championed.
