The Artist of the Week goes to senior Nick Snow, who has been nominated by Allatoona’s chorus director, Mrs. Cannon. She says, “Nick is both an amazing singer and person! He is dedicated 100% to being the best that he can be at whatever he does, and his hard work shows every time he performs. He is funny and kind, and I cannot wait to see what he accomplishes in his music career in the future!” Nick has been a part of chorus for the past two years and says that he “intends on doing music as a career.” When recalling his favorite memory from chorus, Nick shares, “I’m going to have to say the foundations and putting it together with everyone in chorus, it’s just always so much fun.” When asked about any challenges he’s had to face in the class, he mentions, “My biggest challenge was coming into a new environment and doing things a different way than what I’m used to doing.” Nick’s advice to youth interested in chorus: “I would say definitely don’t doubt yourself; don’t doubt your abilities; and collaborate with everyone around you to be able to grow.” Congratulations to Nick Snow for being selected as this week’s Artist of the Week!
