AP Exams begin May 6

Overview of Exams – See AP Exam Terms and Conditions – AP Students | College Board

Dates and Times

1. See 2024 AP Exam Dates – AP Central | College Board
2. Morning exams - check in begins at 7:30 am, and exams begin promptly at 8:00 am.
3. Afternoon exams - check in begins at 11:30, and exams begin promptly at 12 noon.
4. Students will check in at the Auxiliary gym.
5. Students are excused from all classes on the day of their exams.

Exam Day

2. Allatoona will provide pencils and pens, but feel free to bring your own.
3. No electronic devices are allowed in the testing room. This includes fitness trackers and any watch that beeps or has an alarm.
4. Students will keep all personal items in hallway outside of testing rooms.

Snacks and Breaks

1. No food or drinks are allowed in the testing room. See May I bring something to eat or drink on exam day? – AP Students | College Board
2. Students are allowed to go to restroom with permission, and a break is provided between sections. See Breaks – AP Students | College Board

Acceptable calculators – see AP Exams Calculator Policy – AP Students | College Board. Be sure that your students know which calculators are acceptable for each test.

AP Exam Registration

Please complete ALL payments for your AP exam(s) on MyPaymentsPlus by March 1st for the spring classes.

Students taking AP exams MUST indicate on the exam registration status “Yes.”  If the decision status is “Undecided” or "No," the AP exam WILL NOT BE ORDERED. Exams will not be ordered until payment is made completely.

If you are planning on taking an AP exam and need testing accommodations, please download the form entitled College Board Consent for Standardized Testing Accommodations in Resources below and fill it out.  This will need to be turned in to Dr. Bagley to apply to the College Board for those accommodations.
