Expect Respect (School Safety)
SHARE
Expect Respect is a bullying prevention program used in all Cobb County School District’s middle and high schools. Expect Respect is designed to empower students to positively impact the social environment in their school. The program’s goal is to create an environment where everyone feels safe from socially aggressive behaviors, such as bullying and harassment. Simpson Middle School staff and students will be learning a set of specific skills to use so that the entire school is equipped to address these issues if they arise. The Cobb County School District has provided guidance on how to rollout this new program, and one of the first steps is to form a Student Advisory Council that will serve as an integral part of this program.
The electronic translation service is hosted by Google Translate. The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 50 languages, although an impressive number, this does not capture all languages or dialects. The basic translation’s goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material.
