Our relatively small unit has Cadets who work exceptionally hard throughout the year, averaging nearly 30 hours of community service and over 25 hours of school support per Cadet.
Many Cadets serve on multiple teams, with Academic, Color Guard, Drill, Drone, and Orienteering advancing to the area championship level or higher. This included more than 5,000 practice hours.
Despite the training tempo, Cadets maintained their academics, with over 60% of the unit maintaining an A-B average.
Last night, Cadets appeared at the Acworth City meeting where they were awarded for the third year in a row the Distinguished Unit Award. Following this award, each Cadet received a "Key of the City" lapel pin.
Congrats, NJROTC! We are so proud of your hard work.
