ESOL Team

Many of our students are learning English as a second language.  To assist students in acquiring the English Language, many of our teachers hold ESOL Endorsements to use specific strategies and techniques which aid in the acquisition of a new language. A heavy emphasis on early literacy skills in the younger grades and content vocabulary in the upper grades help our students be successful. Families are encouraged to speak the first language at home to help students remain bilingual.
