Principal: Jennifer Ridgway
Dear Hollydale Family,
It is my privilege to serve as the Principal of Hollydale Elementary and be part of such a dedicated and caring faculty, staff, and community. Welcome to our sweet school where our mission is to nurture a community of leadership and service!
As you enter Hollydale, you’ll notice the warm, family feeling among staff and students. We understand that developing relationships with students, keeping them safe, and showing them we care are essential to helping all students succeed. The glue that binds us all together is our commitments to one another: 1-We are a family, 2-Change starts with us, 3-Everyone can be a leader.
Our school is staffed by highly trained and certified professionals. Whether using technology to enhance instruction or creating lessons that promote higher-order thinking, our teachers are always looking for ways to engage our students in their learning. Our students are involved in their learning by setting goals and monitoring their progress.
We are a Leader in Me School which means we teach the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. My favorite is Habit #5—Seek first to understand, then be understood. My door is always open to you. I look forward to working with you to ensure your child’s academic success.

Hello Hollydale Community! For those of you who don't know me, let me tell you a little bit about myself! I was born and raised in upstate New York where I lived until the winters became something I was ready to give up! I relocated to Georgia to soak in some warmer weather and have called it home ever since. This is my 25th year working for the CCSD! Prior to serving the Hollydale community, I spent 11 years teaching at Sanders Elementary before I left to continue my career teaching at Teasley. In 2012 I moved into administration at Teasley and served as an assistant principal there before I made my way to Hollydale. I have enjoyed each and every community I've worked in and have loved every student and teacher that I've been privileged to know along the way. I am excited for another wonderful year at Hollydale! If there is ever anything I can do to serve you, please reach out to me! I look forward to working with you this year.
