Arrival
Buses arrive at school from 7:15 to 7:40 AM. For safety and security reasons, students and parents are not allowed in the building until the bell rings at 7:15 am. Breakfast is served from 7:15 – 7:45 AM so our leaders can be in class on or before 7:50 AM. Students who arrive between 7:15 – 7:45 AM either go to breakfast or directly to their classroom.
After the 7:50 AM bell, each day begins with the "Whooo News" or morning announcements led by the news team that is comprised of our 4th and 5th grade Hollydale Leaders.
Morning Arrival by Car
Please have your students remain in the car until doors open at 7:15 am. Students should exit on the building side of the car, onto the sidewalk. You are welcome to park and walk your child into the building or to the cross walk. Please do not let students exit in the parking lot unless they are accompanied by a parent in the building. In order to keep our students safe, we ask that you stay in line rather than driving around cars.

Dismissal
On regular school days, the school day ends at 2:15 pm. On Early Release Days, the school day ends at 12:20 pm.
We kindly ask you to make appointments in the afternoon. This keeps our leaders in class and learning. If you need to check out your child, you must do so prior to 1:45. From 1:45 until 2:10 our office closes to safely dismiss our students.
In order to keep our leaders as safe as possible, you will be asked to obtain a car rider and/or walker number at the beginning of the school year. The enrolling adult will need to bring their license to the front office to complete the paperwork.
It's probable you may need to change your child's transportation during the day at some point. When this happens, we ask that the enrolling adult email us at Hollydale@cobbk12.org. Please refrain from calling unless you are asking us to put your child in ASP. Do not message or email teachers during the day for a dismissal change as they are teaching. A staff member mans the Hollydale email and gets the message to your child's teacher. We only accept changes in transportation by email, fax, or in person.

Afternoon Dismissal by Car
We begin dismissal by car at 2:15 pm on regular school days (12:30 pm for Early Release Days).Please have your child's dismissal number hanging and visible when in the car line. Our staff will begin organizing our students for dismissal based on the visible car numbers. Without a number, you will need to plan on parking and showing your identification in the front office.
Afternoon Dismissal of Walkers
We begin dismissal for walkers at 2:15 pm. Please have your child's number ready to give to our staff when you arrive at the front gate.
After-School Program
It's highly recommended you enroll your child in ASP. Please see more information regarding this process under ASP. Students are sent to ASP when they've been registered before hand and have a credit of at least one day ($7.00). It is a prepaid program and students are not allowed to attend without proper registration and funds.
