About School
Welcome to Hollydale Elementary
Our school has been educating the hearts and minds of students since 1967. Many of our leaders in the community and school district "graduated" from Hollydale. If our building could talk it would most likely describe the traditions passed down through each generation & the varied changes in the community over the years. We recently celebrated our 50th anniversary and it was super exciting to see the number of students who have gone on to be successful businessmen and women in our community!
We currently educate about 550 students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Our diversity is our strength--we serve a variety of ethnicities, backgrounds, abilities, and all of our students have superpowers just waiting to be refined. We believe in educating the whole child--students are taught emotional literacy as well traditional core subjects. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People are integrated into our culture, academics, and through our leadership opportunities. Collectively we embrace three core beliefs:
--Change starts with us.
---We work together.
---Hard work is rewarding.
Mission:
Our Team, One Goal, Student Success
Vision:
A school committed to student success.
Cognia Review
Cobb families know the Cobb County School District has a reputation for excellence, as Cobb’s students consistently perform better than their peers. You could live anywhere, yet over 200,000 parents choose to raise their children in Cobb. You know that a Cobb education gives your children a competitive advantage for scholarships, college, future employment, and life.
Once again, Cobb families can feel even more confident their students are receiving a high-quality education following the most recent accreditation review by Cognia, one of Cobb’s accrediting agencies and one of the largest in the world.
After recently completing an Accreditation Engagement Review, which took almost one year to complete, every school in Cobb County has been accredited for an additional six years.
