Cobb School District and Campbell High School Summer School Options

  • Campbell High School Course Extension
  • Cobb School District Summer School
    • Credit Recovery Only
    • Online Registration May 1-24 (Registration Closes at midnight May 24) in PARENTVUE
    • Tuition:  FREE
    • Required Orientation (Parents & Students) June 12 @ 1pm (at Campbell High School)
    • Course Offerings:  Majority of the core high school courses with some electives.
    • Summer School Dates/Times:  June 13-15, 20-22, and 26-29
    • Delivery Format:  Face to Face at Campbell High School
    • Daily Attendance is mandatory from 9am - 3pm 
    • End of Course Testing is July 5-6 (only for courses that require it)
    • Seniors are eligible to graduate after completion of a summer course can participate in the Summer Commencement Ceremony scheduled for July 27.  Those eligible will receive additional information this summer.  
  • Cobb Virtual Academy
    • Online Registration May 1-23 at Noon through the CVA Website.
    • Dates: May 29-July 6 @11:59pm.  End of Course Testing July5-6 (only for courses that require it)
    • Attendance:  work 30-40 hours a week per 1.0 unit course; login and turn in assignments daily.
    • Tuition:  .5 unit - $275 or 1.0 unit - $550.
    • Course Offerings: Majority of the core high school courses with some electives.  See Website for complete list.
    • Delivery Format:  Web-based, self-paced courses with online assignments, activities, assessments, flash/video presentations.  
    • If the course is offered through Cobb Virtual Academy, you must take it through them.  If it is not offered or is full, you may take it through Georgia Virtual School.
  • Georgia Virtual School
    • Initial Credit & Credit Recovery (Online)
    • Tuition:  .5 unit - $250 or 1.0 unit - $500
    • Course Offerings:  Core and Elective Courses
    • Delivery Format:  Web-based courses with online assignments, activities, assessments, and flash/video presentations.
    • Online Registration:  March 1st - June 8th
    • Dates:  Classes begin June 5; Final Exams: July 8-13.
    • Attendance:  work 30-40 hours a week per 1.0 unit course; login and turn in assignments daily.  
    • If the course is offered through Cobb Virtual Academy, you MUST take it through them.  If it is not offered or is full, you may take it through Georgia Virtual School.
