We are pleased to announce Pope High School’s 2023-24 STAR Student and STAR Teacher.  We have a tie…Jay Natu and Simon O’Connor.  Jay has chosen Ms. Ransom as his STAR Teacher and Simon has chosen Mr. Trentacoste as his STAR Teacher.  The STAR Student represents the Senior with the highest SAT score in their graduating class.  Both young men scored a 1550 in one sitting on an SAT.  The STAR Teacher is declared by the STAR Student for having made the most significant contribution to the STAR Student’s scholastic development.  Jay, Ms. Ransom, Simon, and Mr. Trentacoste will all be honored at a banquet hosted by the Metro Marietta Kiwanis Club on February 13th.  Congratulations!
