Following the Rockin’ pep rally celebrating Cobb Teachers of the Year last month, the Cobb Schools community continued to celebrate Cobb educators by presenting the Cobb County School District and Marietta City School's district-level Teachers of the Year with a one-year car lease from Voyles Automotive Group.
Cobb’s top teachers pulled away from the Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre in their new wheels.

The November event was part of the Cobb Chamber’s 35th year of Give Our Schools a Hand celebrations, which honors teachers from Cobb Schools and Marietta City Schools.
In August, Superintendent Chris Ragsdale announced Ms. Wright as the District’s Teacher of the Year during a surprise visit to Big Shanty Intermediate School, where she serves as Big Shanty’s 4th grade ELA teacher and team lead.
