BLOOPER and the Atlanta Braves visit Milford Elementary School.

Excitement recently bounced off the walls of Milford Elementary School as the Atlanta Braves' beloved mascot, BLOOPER, and his trusty Mascot Security team brought laughter, learning, and a little bit of pie-covered fun. The Braves honored Milford students with the firstBlooper%20Milford%20ES%20Home%20Run%20WM-32.jpg BLOOPER's HOME Run U school show of 2025, and it will be a memory the students will not soon forget.

From the moment BLOOPER popped into the gym, the students squealed with delight, their cheers as loud as a packed stadium celebrating a game-winning home run. Giggles turned into full-blown laughter as BLOOPER showcased his signature antics, proving he might just be the funniest thing they had seen all school year. Even the teachers couldn’t resist the mascot’s charm, joining in on the fun with big smiles—and eventually, a couple of pies to the face!

Blooper%20Milford%20ES%20Home%20Run%20WM-77.jpgBLOOPER and his Mascot Security team taught hundreds of Milford students how healthy lifestyles, diet, and exercise can help them hit a home run. Through engaging activities and interactive challenges, the students jumped at the opportunity to team up with Blooper, eager to learn how to make healthier choices and stay active.

"Milford students were thrilled when Blooper, the Braves mascot, made a special appearance at Milford Elementary for the HomeRun U Show. During the show, the students learned about the four bases of healthy habits, which emphasized the importance of physical activity, eating healthy, getting proper rest, and being engaged in the classroom by putting in effort and having the right attitude. The event was both fun and educational, leaving a lasting impression on the students," shared Dr. Tiffany Jones, Milford's principal.

BLOOPER's HOME Run U is part of the Atlanta Braves' ongoing support of local schools, teachers, and students. By collaborating with elementary schools across Braves Country for this school show, the Braves aim to build community through baseball, engage young fans by equipping them with tools that enhance their classroom learning and interpersonal skills while fostering their personal growth and development, and provide access to unique Braves experiences.

Some Milford students will see Blooper again at Truist Park in a few months. This spring, the Milford chorus will take center field to sing the "The Star-Spangled Banner" in front of thousands of Braves fans.
