Remote Learning for the Remainder of the Week
In Cobb County Schools and at McCleskey Middle School, our priority has always been the safety and welfare of our students and our staff. While COVID-19 has changed the way our district, state, and nation "do" school – our priorities have not shifted.
Understanding our desire to ensure a safe and healthy campus, the district has decided to transition our school to full remote for the remainder of the week. This decision has been made based on student, staff, and school needs and will allow us to offer a face-to-face classroom option as soon as possible.
While we know that this is an inconvenience for many of our families, we are so thankful to serve in a community that understands and appreciates the gravity of the ongoing situation. Our staff will continue to work hard to serve every student while we operate remotely, and we'll send out an update this Friday.
The district will continue to handle school-by-school closings on an individual basis and are committed to announcing any future closings as soon as the decision is made.
