The current campus of Sprayberry High School was built in 1973. It has served the East Cobb community for nearly 50 years, standing proudly at the corner of Sandy Plains and Piedmont roads in Marietta. As one of the older school buildings in Cobb, the school requires various upgrades to bring the campus up to District standards.  

Several update projects are already in the works , thanks to Ed-SPLOST V funds allotted to the school. A new 3000-seat gymnasium, renovations to the CTAE (Career, Technology, and Agricultural Education) building, and new turf in Sprayberry's stadium address the most critical areas of need. Further upgrades proposed for Ed-SPLOST VI will ensure the school and its facilities can continue that tradition for many years to come.  

Among the projects proposed for Sprayberry in Ed-SPLOST VI are replacing classrooms and other learning areas, as well as improving core common spaces, such as the cafeteria and the lobby and administration rooms. Other infrastructure updates—including HVAC, network and telephone equipment, teaching technology, and security upgrades—will also be addressed by Ed-SPLOST VI.

Additional educational space will expand the existing structure and give teachers, students, and administrators more room overall. The stadium will be receiving a new scoreboard and the bleachers will be refurbished. The fieldhouse will get a new HVAC system, the tennis courts will be resurfaced and improved, and much more. A beautiful new digital marquee sign is also planned and will give the entire campus curb appeal while announcing school events to the commuters on Sandy Plains Road.

These upgrades and many others will help keep Sprayberry looking fresh while ensuring that students, parents, and staff have a secure and modern building to call home.
