Following the August announcement of Cobb’s District Teacher of the Year, the Cobb County School District named the top Classified Employees of the Year:

Praising the work of the standout team members, Board Chair Randy Scamihorn said, "From the moment students step on the bus to the end of the day, those who "support those who teach" allow learning to happen for over 100,000 students, every single day."

The District's top employees were recognized during a special event at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre honoring the Classified Employees of the Year (CEOTY) from across the District.

These employees, often described as the "heartbeat" of their schools, are the first to greet students and parents each day. According to those who work with CEOTY every day, their professionalism and support are essential to their school's operation, allowing teachers to concentrate on what they do best—teaching.
