Educators Help Cobb Schools Foundation Take Student Success to New Heights
During the season of giving, Cobb educators and the school community opened their wallets to help take student success to new heights.
The Cobb Schools Foundation’s “Each One Reaches One” fundraising campaign collected more than $30,000 in donations, 100% of which will go directly towards supporting family stabilization, learning interventions, and scholarships.
“This year's campaign has been an outstanding testament to the incredible generosity, dedication, and community spirit within our organization. We extended a call to our employees to give and actively engage, and their response has been nothing short of inspiring. Their unwavering support and commitment have made a remarkable impact on our community, demonstrating our collective power to create meaningful change,” said Felicia Wagner, Cobb Schools Foundation Executive Director.

Staff from three Cobb schools stood out for their outstanding dedication and enthusiastic participation in the Foundation’s 2023 fundraising campaign. The top-performing schools include LaBelle Elementary School, Hightower Trail Middle School, and Wheeler High School.
In recognition of their remarkable commitment, each of these exemplary institutions will receive substantial support from the Cobb Schools Foundation in the amount of $2,500 for each school. This significant contribution will undoubtedly further their initiatives and positively impact the lives of Cobb students.
LaBelle earned extra praise for their team’s support. At LaBelle, 69% of their employees took the initiative to support Cobb students through the Cobb Schools Foundation.
“We extend our heartfelt appreciation to every single person who contributed, participated, and supported our campaign in various capacities. Your generosity has made a profound difference in the lives of our students and the success of this initiative,” Ms. Wagner added.
The Foundation’s fundraising campaign follows the recent announcement of Wellstar’s financial commitment of $2 million to support the healthcare pathway at the Cobb Innovation Technology Academy (CITA), which was made possible with the support of the Cobb Schools Foundation.
